For Joyce

For Joyce (2013) is a participatory and interactive sound installation based on the story of Joyce Vincent.

(How long would it take before someone noticed that you were missing? 3 minutes? 3 days? 3 months?)

Joyce Vincent was discovered with the television still on and Christmas presents halfway wrapped in her flat almost three years after her death.

During the premiere, audience members were asked to go to the front of the stage and sort through a myriad of articles, poems and facts about Joyce, with only the glow of the 'television' as their guide.
