Chuckle Objects

The Chuckle Objects at Yashar Gallery for the DigiAna Group Show, “New Old World” (2022)

This project began in 2022. The purpose of these pieces was to make me and others laugh. These objects are made with a combination of found objects and electronics. Unintentionally, these pieces have hints of nostalgia. This series has gone through iterations between various showings and is a work-in-progress.

Chuckle Object #1: Telephone

This object quotes a popular commercial from their youth. Visitors are invited to hold the can to their ear and listen to the sounds.

Chuckle Object #2: Headlights

This piece is a self portrait and visualizes the rhythms of “I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts”.
